Meet Alana

Alana Moore Jeffery received a BFA from the Music Dance Theater Program at Brigham Young University. She is the founder of AMJ Academy, wife to her husband Jared, and mom to their adorable son, Wyatt.

Alana has been coaching voice and theater since 2012. By instilling healthy technique, and focusing on good habits, she helps her students cultivate the skills and confidence necessary to improve at any stage in their performance journey.

Alana has also engaged in corporate events, overseeing music direction, studio recording, casting, and choreography for internationally attended awards shows.

Her first love was always the stage. Some of her favorite roles include Diana in Next to Normal, Rusty in Footloose, Titus in Titus Andronicus, Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing, Mrs. Potts in Beauty and the Beast, Yvette Pottier in Mother Courage, Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Earnest, and Miss Andrew in Mary Poppins.

More recently, Alana could be seen on BYUtv as a narrator in the BYU Women’s Conference broadcast of Our Roots.
